The story of The Magic Quarter

The story of “The Magic Quarter”.

If you have a coin handy, get it out and look at it.

Now this story came from when I was a Boy Scout master.  And
one of the fellows in the troop was having some personal
problems in his family.  And the other boys were out doing
some of the projects, and I had this boy come in to meet with
me privately.

And I was talking with him, getting him to open up and explain
what was going on in his life.  It became obvious that he was
having trouble making choices.

So I pulled out this quarter out of my pocket.  And I said,
“This is a magic quarter.  And I’m going to give it to you, and
I want you to keep it all your life.  And there’s something
very special about this magic quarter.

“You see, this magic quarter, on one side, we call it heads, and
we associate that with positive.  On the other side, we call it
tails, and we associate that with negative.  But there’s something
else about this magic quarter.  You see, it has an edge that’s
neither head nor tails.”

And I said, “You know, most people go through life getting a
magic quarter, and they don’t do anything with it at all.  Other
people go through life, and they get a magic quarter, and they
flip it up in the air and let the magic quarter decide whether
it is to be heads, positive, or tails, negative.”

And then I said to him, “But there’s some people that, in their
lives, take the magic quarter, and they decide for themselves
which side is going to be up.”

And as I gave him that magic quarter, I said, “You know, you
have the power of choice to choose which side you want to have
up throughout your lifetime.”

So, at this point I’m going to give you a magic quarter along
with that story.

Always decide which side you’re going to choose, the positive or
the negative.  And the worst thing you could do is not exercise
any power of choice.

You must choose to do something rather than just not to do
something.  Be proactive.  Never again flip the coin and accept
that “Whatever will be, will be.”  The greatest power you have
is the power of choice.  You must become aware of it and use
its power to create the life you want.

This is an excerpt from just one of the lessons in the
Ultimate Success Program.

When you’re ready, I invite you to join the thousands
who have applied these life lessons that I’ve put together
into a step-by-step success program.

There’s one recurring theme through all of the lessons,
and that is to take action on each and every step. If
you don’t do that, nothing will happen for you.

The law of cause and effect is real, you must be the
cause (the action) to get the desired effect (your
dreams and goals).

May I help you too?
