The difference between goals and plans

The difference between goals and plans, and why you need both
to succeed.

You can program yourself for success using goals and plans.

Your personal success mechanism, which is your subconscious mind,
thrives on carrying out your plans to achieve your goals.  It is
absolutely an awesome advantage you have if you will choose to use it.

A goal is something you want to achieve.  A plan is your specific
way of achieving that goal.  Both your goal and plan first begin
as ideas in your mind.

You have to understand that thoughts are things.

Everything around you began as an idea in someone’s mind.

The idea becomes a goal; then a plan was made to achieve it.

Throughout history and in the future goals and plans have, and will
have, changed the world and lives.  And what a shame that our school
systems rarely, if ever, teach students to set goals and create
plans to achieve them.

Most students are only taught to follow the instructions of their
supervisors, which translates later in life to following the
instructions of their supervisors in the work place.

Setting goals and creating plans should be taught as the standard
operating procedure for all people, and this skill taught to each
generation time and time again.

Are goals and plans only for your business activities?

NO!  Not at all!

All parts of your life can be enhanced by setting goals and creating
plans to achieve those goals.  By doing so, those things that are
important to you don’t get brushed aside and lost in the shuffle
of life.

Those goals that get planned and those plans that get implemented
get done.  Spiritual relationship, spouse relationship, family
relationships, personal relationships, health, self-growth, financial,
business and work, recreation and hobbies-all of these parts of your
life benefit from goals and plans.

Unfortunately, most people have no goals and plans.  Others have vague
goals without any specific plans to achieve them.  And others set goals
that are unrealistic because the plans they create are not workable.

This is an excerpt from just one of the lessons in the
Ultimate Success Program.

When you’re ready, I invite you to join the thousands
who have applied these life lessons that I’ve put together
into a step-by-step success program.

There’s one recurring theme through all of the lessons,
and that is to take action on each and every step. If
you don’t do that, nothing will happen for you.

The law of cause and effect is real, you must be the
cause (the action) to get the desired effect (your
dreams and goals).

May I help you too?

As always, my best to you —

Mark Hendricks
