How to develop the courage to conquer your fears

Do you avoid challenges?

Are you afraid to take a chance?

Are you just living in your comfort zone?

Are you limiting yourself by living too carefully?  Are you
finally becoming dissatisfied enough to take on measured
risk and take action?

It’s unfortunate that we easily fall into the trap of living
in our comfort zone of the present.  We continually put off
taking action on our goals until the future, or reminisce about
the past to find excuses for not taking action now.

Why?  Because it’s easy for you to hide in your habits rather
than take a step forward to opportunity and risk stumbling or
perceived embarrassment.

It’s been said, “The bigger the risk, the bigger the reward.”

How true!

And always also know the bigger the risk, the greater chance of
loss too.  You must learn to manage risk to gain reward without
risking everything to do it.

Doing anything new creates a sense of fear of the unknown outcome.

Have you noticed that most of the time, once we know the unknown,
the fear is no longer there to stop us?  Learn the technique of
“Best case – worst case.”  If you can live with the worst-case
scenario, then, by all means, take action to go for the best-case
scenario, and move forward.

Get out of your everyday routine to begin getting away from your
limiting habits.  Do the thing you enjoy doing, but do them in a
different location, away from familiar surroundings.

For example, instead of reading a book at home, go to a public park
and sit in the shade of a tree to read and study.

Go to new events.

Meet new people.

Hear new ideas.

See new things.

Ask questions that your mind wants answered.

All of these are action verbs:  go; meet; hear; see; ask.

This is how you live life.

Life is made up of living, which is the act of continually growing.

And growing is accomplished by doing.

And doing is made of taking action.

This is an excerpt from just one of the lessons in the
Ultimate Success Program.

When you’re ready, I invite you to join the thousands
who have applied these life lessons that I’ve put together
into a step-by-step success program.

There’s one recurring theme through all of the lessons,
and that is to take action on each and every step. If
you don’t do that, nothing will happen for you.

The law of cause and effect is real, you must be the
cause (the action) to get the desired effect (your
dreams and goals).

May I help you too?
